Baf's Guide

A primitive, crudely-illustrated, and mostly linear game concerning a jaunt through a dreamworld - a premise which is probably supposed to justify the game's general incoherence. Has a severe case of guess-the-verb, despite a small collection of verb icons (selectable with the C64 joystick). For example, the verbs "lift" and "raise" are both required at different points, but are not synonyms. A walkthrough is a virtual necessity for making any progress, even with the occasional hints provided by the "help" command. Plays irritating beep music that, in one case, is an essential clue, so you dare not turn it off.
