The amount of work that had to have gone into scripting this and keeping track of all the variables would have surely been madness inducing in anyone else. Luckily I think this author might already be there.
It's a classic dungeon crawl with character race and class choices, inventory slots and weapon stats, NPC party members, the works. There isn't a ton of story here but you enter the different stages and pull random encounters from the area with atmospheric art for each monster. Manage your equipment wisely and if you see a dissolver beast in the forest, RUN AWAY. Once you lose your weapon it may be a long time before you can replace it and so you can easily doom yourself that way.
Considering the CYS engine is just meant for branching stories and some basic IF statements and variables, and many people find even those to difficult to use, this game is truly impressive.
