1. Search for the Lost Ark
by Garry Francis
(2023)
Average member rating: (7 ratings)

David Welbourn says:

In this religious adventure, you play as Jean Rousseau, a French seminarian; that is, a trainee priest. Local legend says The Ark of the Covenant was hidden by a priest in your village, but he died and now no one knows exactly where it is. The Church Council asks you to find the Ark and return it to the church's altar.

2. The Alchemist
by Jim MacBrayne (as Older Timer)
(2022)
Average member rating: (9 ratings)

David Welbourn says:

In this fantasy game, your friend, Ezekiel Throgmeister (or "The Alchemist" as most villagers call him), needs your help to take care of an experiment while he's away from his mansion. He had no time to give you any details, but he's confident you're clever enough to figure everything out.

3. A Hobbit Trek
by Crispin
(2013)
Average member rating: (2 ratings)

David Welbourn says:

In this game set in Middle Earth, you play as Daisy Tunnelly, a hobbit. A giant flood swept you away from your home in Bree to the branches of a tree in an unfamiliar land. You stayed in the tree until the waters receded, but now it's time to start the long walk back to Bree. You hope someone can give you directions.

4. Dragon George and the Man, by Marnie Parker (2000)
Average member rating: (2 ratings)
David Welbourn says:

In this fantasy adventure, you play as a young dragon named George. While trying to find an underground troll kingdom, you are attacked by a mimesis-breaking man named Bruce who finds you too cute and clichéd to live. After you both fall far underground, he reluctantly offers to cooperate with you, warning this isn't going to be a stupid buddy comedy where two mismatched guys become friends.

5. Antiquest
by Anton Lastochkin
(2017)
Average member rating: (8 ratings)

David Welbourn says:

In this odd game, you play as the captain of a space ship (or station). The story involves stasis, amnesia, robots, and mutiny, but that mostly doesn't matter. Your real objective is to replay the game over and over again until you've found all thirteen endings.

6. The Bright Blue Ball, by Clary C. (2022)
Average member rating: (11 ratings)
David Welbourn says:

In this small game, you play as a dog named Max. You lost your bright blue ball while the humans were panicking. Did you see a little girl pick it up? In the shelter, you think about your blue ball. You want it back.

7. Buccaneer's Cache
by Wilfried Elmenreich
(2021)
Average member rating: (3 ratings)

David Welbourn says:

In this small game, you wake up in a pub's broom closet. If you can survive getting past the beast in the pub, try to find the three geocaches hidden around town and make your fortune!

8. Desolation
by Earth Traveler
(2020)
Average member rating: (10 ratings)

David Welbourn says:

In this game, you play as Ty. You run into an endless desert to get away from faceless men in white robes and an evil two-braided girl. You shudder thinking of her blood-red eyes and her shark-toothed grin. Can you survive in the desert? Can you escape her pursuit? Can you even remember what happened?

9. Fish-Bot!, by R. N. Dominick (2003)
Average member rating: (3 ratings)
David Welbourn says:

In this very short game with several possible endings, you play as a sentient goldfish masquerading as a human using the Fish-Bot 2000. Tonight, you're in the Franco-Texan embassy to gain the respect of the Franco-Texan people for fishkind.

10. Marie Waits
by Dee Cooke
(2023)
Average member rating: (13 ratings)

David Welbourn says:

In this escape game, you play as Marie. You were captured during an investigation, and now you're tied to a chair in a pit in a hut in Nowhere, Essex. One of your captors says "all she can do now is wait till noon." It's nine o'clock now. You have three hours to escape.
