About the Story

A greatly expanded version of the 1982 BBC Micro Castle of Riddles text adventure game. This version has graphics, sound, more riddles and locations. There are 50 ways to die (49 really because one ending is worse than death). Play free in a browser.
You play the part of an adventurer who has been asked by a wizard to recover his ring of power from a booby-trapped castle.
You're going to die, but helpfully you can save your progress and use a 'Back' link to try a different method.
