About the Story

Once upon a time, the forest of the land was peaceful. No monsters roamed the land, and people were free to come and go as they pleased. One day, however, an evil dragon turned the good creatures of the forest towards the dark side, forever changing the pulse and rhythm of the land.

You were determined to change all of this, for now is the time to strike at the heart of the dragon and slay him forever! And so the adventure begins...

This is a simple text adventure game to show new programmers how to write one. It is heavily commented with REM statements for those who want to know what each subroutine does.
