About the Story

For weeks the thieving in Markavarn had been bad. A few copper coins taken from a farmer. A silk handkerchief from a merchant's pocket. A worthless bangle from the wrist of a servant girl. Then you found a mark worthy of your talents. A mark that Plig the cut-purse could savour.

A quick flick of the wrist and your blade sliced through the strap holding the merchant's purse. It felt heavy too, as you slipped it into your pocket.

Back in your room you eagerly emptied the purse and drew in an astonished breath as the contents fell out. 30 gold coins, a silver cloak clasp... and the most magnificent Ruby Ring that you had ever seen in your life.

You slipped the ring onto your finger and then your troubles really began. That very night you become a WOLF; stalking the streets of Markavarn and killing indiscriminately.

In the morning, exhausted and terrified, you tried to remove the ring only to find it impossible. You had become a WEREWOLF!

Only one person can remove the curse and return you to your former self. He is Albanon the Seer; but he left the city years ago to wander the Yaan Wilds in search of the true way.

Can you locate Albanon and ask him for his help before you lose the power of speech for ever? Will you be able to pay his price?
