About the Story

A short piece, in which you have a conversation and then make a choice. It was created in two weeks as an entry to the first Indie Horror Jam, run in July of 2021, where it placed joint 3rd.

This game contains adult language, descriptions of violence, and brief references to addiction.

It works properly when run in Chrome and Safari. It may not work properly if run in Firefox. I recommend playing it fullscreen, with headphones in.

It has two endings, and takes about 15 minutes to complete once through.

Through the Shattered Lens
With the exception of the final few moments of the game, Kiss of Beth is a conversation simulator. At the start of the game, it seems like you are just being an overprotective friend but, as things progress, it becomes obvious that there is more to your relationship with Beth than just friendship.
