"Classic Text Adventure Masterpieces Infocom" CD Rom

Help! I'm a complete layman with this stuff - I have the old Activision CD ROM "Classic Text Adventure Masterpieces Infocom" and am trying to run the games using Gargoyle (downloaded onto my MacBook Pro). But I can't figure out how to do it. I'd appreciate any tips (keeping in mind that I'm completely uneducated with all these weird things like game formats, etc.)
