About the Story

Hearing legends about a huge city, filled with strange, powerful weapons and priceless treasures, you make your way to a little used path going east.

On the dawn of the second day you see a familiar face come galloping up on his horse. It is the Night Marshal (in the day time hours?).

"Ho," he calls, "I am to lead you to the place of the legend!" and with that he walks off to a large jungle area you had seen some distance away. No sooner does he enter the jungle than do you lose sight of him.

It is about this time that you notice that the plants smell funny. As soon as you realize this your senses reel. Just then you see the Night Marshall appear out from behind a bush with an evil smile on his face. Slowly he begins to move towards you, forcing you backwards. Then as you pass a huge bush you find that you are in a strange land, next to a shimmering portal...

This adventure is part of the Eamon universe. Like all Eamon adventures, it is an RPG-style game, mostly using a two-word parser. Because Eamon is a modular system, you may bring a character and equipment from other adventures into this one.

Editorial Reviews

EamonAG

Like Tim's other Eamons, this one has a strong theme that evokes interesting images in your mind's eye. The gimmick here is a series of "crystal barriers" and mirrors that can mess up your map if you're not careful.
