This is actually the first IF game I wanted to complete. Though puzzles are simple they, in fact, motivate players to play. Your input commands are clear and sensible and without arrogance, and you have a great enthusiasm for everything you do. Also of note, unlike many other IF games, this one adds to the joy of life and optimism. Some games may indeed be more pleasant to play, just as some seem more exciting and others nastier. All this game lacks is a romantic description for the last episode. Will you be able to kiss the Sleeping Beauty? Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Remove vote | Add a comment

Fun Little Game, December 3, 2013by Sharpe (Playing Kerkerkruip, the IF Roguelike) If The Sleeping Princess was written by a child, it was a child with an A-level high school writing ability at least. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Remove vote | Add a comment
Well done 'by kids for kids' intro to IF!, June 24, 2013 by melar (Honolulu, Hi) I teach IF to students from 4th grade through high school and am always looking for well done beginner IF's to introduce the genre and give students an idea of what is possible. This game certainly does that. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Remove vote | Add a comment

Great for Beginners!, June 8, 2011by Emma Claire This game is both fun and easy. My brother is five years old, and I wanted to show him how to play text adventures! He was starting to get bored, but then (Spoiler - click to show) we found the trapdoor, and he said " I'm not bored anymore!" I would definitely recommend this to beginners! This is a very fun game, and is one of my " Warm-Up" games! Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Remove vote | Add a comment

Simple, Fast, and Fun (great beginners game), October 6, 2010The game was fun and fast. I believe a good introduction to IF for anyone who is trying the genera out. The puzzles are fairly to the point but good examples of what one my find in IF if one were to play more. It would be a delightful experience for any new player or writer. 10 year olds review The Sleeping Princess, October 18, 2008by Mike Sousa (Massachusetts) It was a very interesting game. We finished it in an hour though. I liked that in this game you had to be precise. I also liked the (Spoiler - click to show)spell Abracadabra Kalamazoo. The princess room was pretty in PINK. It was cool how you had to (Spoiler - click to show)jump on the sofa to get out of the secret room. This game is awesome for beginners! Was this review helpful to you?
