Not able to complete..., June 24, 2012I agree with David--the game has some nice touches and an old-school feel, but the fact that you can't actually complete it really ruins the fun and leaves the player hanging. I too reached the 58 of 68 point and can't access the final component to proceed. Also, the appearance of items in previously explored areas is frustrating, since they are seemingly unrelated to any action. An item will just appear in another part of the mansion after completing a task in another room. Even with walkthrough help the game can't be finished. Was this review helpful to you? Airing out an old mansion, January 4, 2011by David Welbourn (Kitchener, Ontario) Mansion is an initially charming tale of inheritance with an old-school feel and a few modern touches to make your way smoother: no inventory limit, no time limit, the player can't make the game "unwinnable", and there's a NPC that gives teensy hints. I should mention that there is a maze, but it's one of the easiest mazes I've ever seen since it can be solved without mapping it in any way (although you can if you want to).
