About the Story

May, 1973. A young police sergeant is dispatched to a deeply religious island off the west coast of Scotland to investigate the disappearance of a young girl; he then mysteriously vanishes himself.

Almost one year after an official investigation fails to find any trace of Sergeant Howie, his fiance, Mary Bannock, is left with no choice but to search for him herself... on Summerisle.

This game was created as a pseudo-sequel to the 1973 film "The Wicker Man", and should be treated as "fan-fiction". As such, the author of the game holds no copyright over characters and locations from the film used in the game, and therefore gives permission for the game to be distributed for free, and NOT for profit.
