I first started playing and writing IF as a kid, although I think most of my early authoring efforts were lost to time (maybe a copy of _Forester_ is still out there somewhere, who knows).
I started a Ghost Story Contest at https://www.saugus.net/Contests/Halloween/ back in 1998 that accepts IF entries as well as prose, and I've taught IF classes at the local senior center. I've also given talks on Interactive Fiction at a number of places, including Antarctica (as part of AntarctiConf).
My home page is at https://shelltown.net/~eric/ and I have an Itch.io page with more of my games at: https://feneric.itch.io/
