Baf's Guide

A game with no plot and only one puzzle - but what a puzzle! Basically, it's a 3-D maze embedded in a Rubik's Cube.

-- Carl Muckenhoupt

A one-puzzle game. Your goal is to get through a labyrinth laid within a Rubik's cube-like structure. It's done with great care (I didn't encounter any bugs at all, though implementing such a structure surely must have been a complicated task), and the humorous descriptions give the whole thing a nice joky touch. This game certainly isn't for everyone, but if you feel like spending a couple of hours solving a logical problem you should give it a try.

From the Author

I wrote this game, with a friend, what seems like a lifetime ago. I lost the source in a hard drive crash years ago, so updating it wouldn't be particularly easy. There is a debugging mode that can be enabled, but the map used high ASCII characters and looks crazy in Unicode interpreters. Contact me if you'd like the password to the debugging mode anyway.
