About the Story

Kims love smells like a poppy, sedating your body and senses until only darkness is left. But something is whispering from beyond; a long since forgotten memory of consciousness .

A poetic sci-fi story with music. [Triggers: violence, surreality, possibly gore]

Headphones recommended.

The Breakfast Review
I guess the bottom line is that abstruse imagery, while lovely, usually places the player at such a distance from the events of a story that they can't really engage with the characters. It's like trying to use a cubist painting to identify a missing person, or trying to read instrumental music as poetry, or trying to chew on a soup. It's a different sort of engagement, and we've been locked out of it by the approach.

A porpentine-esque surreal bio-cyber Twine game, September 28, 2017

This game is strongly (by the author's admission) influenced by porpentine.

It mimics Porpentine's uses of multi-colored links and cycling back to one location, and background music, as well as visceral/gooey scenes and identity horror.

However, it lacks a great deal of porpentine's pacing. Frequently, new text is delayed for several seconds before appearing. There are no consistent 'rules' for how scenes proceed; many threads are introduced that are not resolved.

I found that the game was stronger the longer it went.
