There are puzzles, but in many cases it is possible to bypass them (without noticing that fact) if you haven't picked up the required items earlier. I wouldn't say that it's completely successful at what it attempts (some puzzles appear to be unavoidable and will stop you in your tracks until you solve them), but it's definitely worth playing, for its strong and original story as well as for the mechanics." --Christina Nordlander...
