It is a hard game that can make you feel bad and sick, even angry with the fact that we are mesmerised by the violence. And even that, die the dichotomy in our nature between civilisation versus our instinctual barbarism. This game is beautiful and mesmerising in its art and capacity of expression; Only the message is macabre and bloody with love and affection being twisted and rotten in the incestuous relationship between the two main characters. It reminds me of Oscar Wilde motto of there is no morality good or morality bad writings, there are well written or not.
And this is beautiful even if repulsive.
This is my favourite Endmaster story with one of the best intros in Interactive fiction. He paints a picture of the character's personality and the absurdity of dystopian militarism in perfectly written paragraphs.
Then the story opens with very different and immersive branches filled with that acid humour that characterizes Endmaster, which goes so well with a capitalist dystopian environment. The options are great, each death game is an experience, that makes those endings more satisfying that the few scattered good endings. I recommend it to anyone and more to Fallout fans.
