The Adventures of Houdini, by Gwen Katz

Frustrating but cute, February 7, 2017

Cute little hamsters but frustrating. There are parts where the description of the area doesn't give proper directions or is just vague, so it's generally best to just try them all. Sometimes "west" works but sometimes you have to say "go west". I spend most of my time fighting with the parser or just playing 'guess the word'. It was really nice to see the other hamsters running around and having their own personality (albeit a bit on the flat side... well they're hamsters so I guess I can't gripe too much). I was surprised that there wasn't more just for fun hamsterish actions/verbs.

A Promising Begining, February 6, 2017

A nicely written, warm up story. An exercise for both the reader and writer. It is rather short but it allows for some poking around. It might have been a better idea to have the interactor/player warp back to the room, instead of having to restart. And have some sort of counter that would say "And then there were only 3 little boys left in the room."

Hopefully the author will expand on the story. Not a lot, just a tad more.

Fun for your coffee break, February 6, 2017

A very tongue in cheek, choose your own dialog story. Unfortunately, you typically have just one or two options and they tend to be very similar. Great for your coffee break but there is no replayability.
