About the Story

A spacecraft has landed in the corn fields nearby. You're the only one around to make contact.

Moonglow was written to see what could be done with a 10K (10240 byte) Z-Machine file. It uses a custom library called MinForm which reduces the parser down to the bare essentials. The idea was to see how much game could be packed into so little space - simulating the constraints the pioneering authors of IF had in the earliest days.

SPAG
Bernazzani Hits the Mark
Moonglow, like Catseye, is a 10k adventure, but it feels more polished
due to its more robust parser.

Short and sweet, December 20, 2013

Despite its brevity the game includes some relatively easy puzzles and conveys a nice story. The objects are limited, so it is not too difficult to figure out how to use them. The basic idea is not new, but the peaceful ending is heart-warming. Recommendable for everyone.
