1-5 of 5 >INVENTORY - Paul O'Brian writes about interactive fiction Okay, I'm not sure how to review this game without sounding like an ogre. Per the credits and a quick perusal of the web page, it looks like Ruined Robots was written by two kids and one adult, so I hardly want to come off like a big bully, but there's just no getting around the fact that this game is terrible. Being charitable, it feels like a child's drawing that's been taken off the refrigerator and entered into a competition filled with talented painters and sketch artists. In one context, it's something to be proud of, but in the other, it can't be anything but bad.

A game that aspires greatly but does not reach its goals. Big mishmash, June 26, 2019This is a big game that is (I think) written by a couple of kids and a parent. It's scope far exceeded the team's grasp, and what's left is a bizarre and difficult game that is clearly under-implemented and nonsensical. Was this review helpful to you? Sloppy, October 31, 2007Sci-fi with neither the sci nor most of the fi. Some robots, some uninspiring locations, a generally sloppy feeling. The author's hints are as subtle as a slap in your face, but the puzzles felt too difficult anyway. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Remove vote | Add a comment
