The word “heathcliff” is not necessary in this story, April 5, 2012by Mr. Patient (Saint Paul, Minn.) It's been a very long time since I read Wuthering Heights; I can remember the names Heathcliff and Catherine and little else. So I was worried that my faded memories of the book might limit my enjoyment of the game. They didn't. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Remove vote | Add a comment
Comments on this reviewPrevious | << 1 >> | Next Jim Aikin, January 21, 2013 - Reply The parallel structure of these two reviews leaves the strong impression that they, and the game as well, were all written by Jacek Pudlo. The game isn't really a game at all, it's just a thumb jabbed into the eye of anybody who cares about interactive fiction. Mr. Patient, January 21, 2013 - Reply I can assure you that I'm not Pudlo; you can look at my profile here, the game I've authored, and the other reviews I've written. I don't think there's anything particularly Pudlovian about any of them. The review by nhadala was simply a mocking comment on mine, written by the author himself or one of his friends. I do agree with your assessment of the game's quality, but I doubt very much that it was written by Pudlo, either. Whatever you want to say about him, he has shown that he can make a pretty good game (Gamlet). If he were trolling the community with a deliberately bad game, I think he'd at least want some publicity and submit it to a comp or something. |
