About the Story

Its the future. The remnants of humanity, in the aftermath of a cataclysmic event known only as The Fall, have fled a dying homeworld to seek refuge among the colonies of the solar system. 500 years later on the small moon of Callisto, every human has the right to respawn. Today, you are exercising that right.

[R]espawn is a sequel to both You Were Made for Loneliness and The Terror Aboard The Speedwell. You do not need to have played either of those games to understand [R]espawn, but there are a couple of treats for players who have played the other two games.

Freeware Garden: [R]espawn
As I’ve come to expect from Javy, [R]espawn is a very well written and atmospheric piece of interactive fiction that’s not afraid to tackle both personal and societal issues and, happily, do so in style. Subtly. Even if it’s a game about humans (voluntarily or not) respawning by being shot in the head and having a corporation alter and transfer their consciousness into a new body.

An "Escape the Room" kind of game made with less than 300 words for the Twiny Jam.

You kind of know what to expect from a Twine + Gender medley. Nevertheless, have yet another one. No trigger warnings, but also no solutions for anything. Just some words about growing up being made confused.

The Warbler's Nest, by Jason McIntosh

Surely the reed bank counts as a wild place. While it gives you so much, you've never tended it, not really, not like you do with your garden. It's something like the forest, then, but much safer to search without attracting attention....
