Nellan Is Thirsty (referred to by the author as a CFS or Computer Fantasy Simulation) was the world's first text adventure game written specifically for children. It was initially distributed as a type-in BASIC listing.

Features a dynamic on-screen map that changes to reflect the player's progress through the game.
