Baf's Guide

Pure old-school minimalism, with one use per item and lots of filler rooms. Your goal is to rescue a captive professor from a poorly-guarded high-tech prison on a remote planet. The parser isn't limited to two words, but it's kind of stupid, with a little guess-the-verb and demanding adjectives for disambiguation even when there's no ambiguity. A few rooms are illustrated, and the illustrations sometimes show crucial items that aren't mentioned in the text descriptions, so keeping the graphics on (and being able to see them) is a must.
