Spooktastic number one! A twine jam

Good evening, Ghoulies and Gentleghouls! Tonight we embark on a journey of exploration into the deepest and darkest corners of the mind. The world is not as it seems, and spirits haunt the shadows under the moon and stars. Here we will uncover them, along with all the other abominable things in the dark. Just be wary... some shadows do not like to be disturbed, that which has been seen cannot be unseen, and what once has been unleashed cannot so easily be contained again.
This is a Twine-Jam dedicated to all that is spooky and grotesque. After all, it is October, and what holiday is in October?
HALLOWEEN!
The competition starts on October 1st and ends on October 30th, giving people time to vote up to October 31st. (Note: Times may shift on ending and voting.)
Here are the rules!
1. This is a Twine Jam, and thus only Twine stories are accepted. They can be as complex or as simple as you wish!
2. Don't submit content made before the competition, please!
3. The Twine must follow a horror or Halloween theme. Get into the spirit of the season!
4. Please no smut! Gore is fine, but keep the story at least somewhat SFW.
The winners of the competition get glory in the form of the three Fs: Fun, Friendship, and Feelings of Accomplishment!
