I tend to grade generously - my absolute favourites I give five stars, but just about anything that I like well enough to recommend will get a four. Three I tend to reserve for anything moderately entertaining but middle of the pack - something well-implemented but brief, for instance. Games that I've found significantly buggy receive a two, and I haven't disliked anything enough to give it just one star yet.
