Diversity in IF - an IFDB Poll

Most English-language IF that's set in something resembling the real world seems to deal with vaguely WASP-y types in the US, the UK, Australia, or Canada. What are some works that explore different settings from these and/or characters with different cultural backgrounds? (Again, I'm looking for things that are in English and not set in space or a fantasy kingdom.)

So, when you said you didn't want games set in space or in a fantasy kingdom, did you mean you didn't want any SF elements, or just that the game should take place in a real world setting?

I'm totally fine with SF and fantasy elements--and there are a few games that have been recced that take place in fantasy settings clearly influenced by the culture and mythology of a given real-world culture, and I'm fine with that too. I just wanted to make it clear that I wasn't looking for, say, The Gostak.
